Interchange Park North

89,125 SF warehouse located in the IH-410/IH-35 Interchange area of northeast San Antonio. Really a project within a project because of the site drainage requirements from TxDot and location near the 100 year flood plain. The flood plain also made the site narrow and again called for a single slope roof to make the location feasible for a warehouse. The site features a detention pond which spills into Perrin Creek, a concrete drive leading into the site and a screen wall separates the truck court. The building is being constructed so that LEED certification can be obtained with tenant participation.

 











 
Valley Park - College Station

Located in the heart of Aggieland, this 55,000 SF flex office building completed in September 2007 was actually a marriage of two separate buildings to save on space and material costs.  Pitching the roof and terminating it in the new 'L' shape was a challenge overcome by our metal building experience and the design team.  Another challenge was a requirement added by the City of College Station in the permitting phase which called for a 40% masonry facade to wrap the front of the building.  Begun as a shell building, it was partially leased by the Texas A&M Research Foundation prior to completion and the finish out added to our contract.  Other tenants include Starvision and TEEX.




 
Warehouse Kingdom

This project in McAllen, Texas just 3.5 miles from the International Bridge was a competitive bid awarded to CDB in fall of 2007.  As always, it features our standing seam metal roof and insulation with an R-13 for enhanced interior control of temperatures.  The building itself is a hybrid of tilt-wall concrete and stacked CMU to incorporate the medieval design.  The individual suites are designed to allow multiple tenants to occupy and run a business with car parking in the front, and a loading dock in the rear.  It is also constructed so that a mezzanine may be added in the future.
